Allie in da Soundhaus!!

hey hey campers, Allie be here again, it has been a long while since my last post, but I'm attempting to write up a presentation for my project tonight in the reading room, what is round, and need a break since I'm ill with the cold and very sleepy

So the Project is at an end, not sucessful but near the end is

so I was in a record shop a wee while back, buying records and the only guy in there was chatting away to me, and offered me a gig at the SoundHaus. Just a warm up thing but still enough to get the wet backs of my ears stand up. It is at the end of the month and who knows, he might ask me back to warm up again, then again.

To clarify, when I say warm up I mean Djing, not stand up, although that is another ambition of mine.

anyway, a few weeks later, I pop to this guy's house, his name is Ally as well, but as you can see, spelt differently, so I popped to his flat to buy some records, so we thought it would be a good idea to take along one of my decks, which on the face of it DOES seem like a good idea!!

Then the look of horror that sweeps across his face when A -i don't own a set of technics, B - the decks I do own are a bit, hmmmm how can you say? rubbish, the speed increases when you push the speed altering knob in the direction of slower, but granted it does then, (as you continue) go back to normal speed, and then slow down. So I realised I needed to upgrade, ALAS, money be tight,

So telling Ally that I am definatly going to upgrade, he offers me a technic and flight case for 235, (days later as he pops round to my flat) I say yes, but then phone him back after he leaves and explains to him that for the moment I can live, just, without technics, 1210s (drewl) but was a good wee deal,

so I offered this analogy

"You know, I would be thrilled if someone were to offer me a ferrari for ten thousand pounds, although that be 10k I don't have therefore, knid of useless."

anyway

The night is 7/5 quid for the priviledge of getting in, and it is 10-4, at the soundhaus, on the 29th of April, oh apparently the4 night is called studio below.

I actually have a plan, I plan to go, do my set, and then go to pressure, a friend said he could get me on the guest list, which would save me a quick 20, I do like the arches you see.
