Well if you thought that was geeky, i also collect other things, heres a list including the obvious one of course
stamps,
postcards,
lighters,
records,
dice(plural)
headphones/earphones
i was collecting news papers and wine bottles but recyled them,
calenders with pictures of Glasgow on them (I get these for free from the west of scotland studies, they recently (a few years ago) started giving calenders out for free!!!),
bottles of saline, well I can't get through them enough, so I tend to give them to people,
perfume
books once they have been read, I'm trying to compile a library
keyrings
Stationary, all kinds,
uggling balls (I have six now, but one is bashed after a satuday afternoon spent with Paul and Richard playing, "put out the light with the juggling ball", we also tried to play keepy-upies with them but they don't bounce so Sunday was spent nursing sore buttock muscles, actually that was just me and Richard (Pablo's Brother) since Pablo plays football on a regular basis, gimp, also just tried playing a juggling game where the three of us took a ball each and threw it towards another person and recieved it from the other, this proved rather complicated for us)
I've been called a hoarder, but you should only keep things that are useful of beautiful, like Oscar Wilde once postulated.
I call them hobbies, though I like to ommit them in my CV, actually saying I play piano is rather twee I feel, but saying I like to compose music can be a bit worse.
I do these things, but whenever I look over my cv after putting in "I like to play the piano and enjoy writing my own music" I think they might think I am a cock, oh well, there you go. I also enjoy meeting people and socialising, ie going to the pub (alone)
Allie
ps maybe I collect collections, it is a bit of a paradox but I kinda like collecting things, also I'm only 21, does that make me weird (ie assuming 21 year olds have lives)
