Half Baked

15th March 2005

I was walking to a famous bakers on a well known street near my house, I say this trying not to get "ma heed kicked in" or violated by bakery, So I was walking for a bit of lunch, but I think the staff in there are a little special, you know, like touched by the hand of an angle when they were born. One shouts at me often and always ending the sentance with the word "PLEESE!" and I find this excruciatingly excrutiating, for some reason. for example, "FIRST HERE! PLEESE..." "WHAT CAN i GETCHYE? PLEESE..." and "WOULD YOU BE HAVING ANYTHING ELSE WITH THAT PLEESE?"

wasn't sure what I wanted even although I had been in the que for a good while so started letting people in front of me, and this always confuses them. This person also has a really ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!! tendancey to repeat what I have just said, for example "CHEESE AND ONION PASTE!CHEESE AND ONION PASTE!CHEESE AND ONION PASTE!", "CHEESE AND ONION PASTE! FOR THE LADY PLEESE!!" that was a time they had not been made up just yet, so I think it was a tactic for not forgetting things.

My driving instructor used to say my name an awful lot, and I didn't understand why, then someone said it was probably so he didn't forget it. but he used to say my name twice in the one setance "Right Alson, put your foot down on the clutch ALson, into first Alson, and pull off Alson, into second Alson, mind if I smoke Alson?" actually I will leave this story for another post, it is a good one.

anyway back to that bakers i just had a thought, maybe all the freebies the staff get are an indication to the true nature of the effects pastry and other baked goods have on your brain, making everyone into big softeis, oh well, atleast I didn't mention the bakers...
