There is a great Scottish band called Aberfeldy who have a song called "Tom Weir" based on the big man himself, though I think they might be getting annoyed with it, with everyone always getting them to sing it, so if you go to one of their gigs, shout "TOM WEIR PLEASE!!"
I'm sure they'll just love that!!

so I went to see aberfeldy on my Birthday in Dunfermline, Alex came with me and we stayed at a very nice wee hotel in the town centre, a five minute walk from the town hall where the gig was being held. (no smoking though and the bar was over packed, wasn't like a proper gig in the sense of crowd surfing)
felt strange sitting down and not dancing with a pint in my hand, oh well, I'll post the pictures once they get developed. Alex took them, since I was too shy!!
so a had a great time, then the next week was off to barcelona, more about Sonar later me thinks.
